For passengers of domestic airlines

Passengers departing from Volgograd International airport on domestic flights are serviced at terminal C.

ATTENTION: when purchasing tickets, ask at what terminal you will be served.

Tickets and baggage check-in

In order to ensure the safety of life and health of passengers and the airport’s visitors it is a must to pass through the security screening point at the entrance to the terminal. Inspection of passengers and their baggage is conducted by aviation security personnel with the use of certified equipment.

Check-in and baggage handling for domestic flights starts 1.5-3 hours (depending on the type of aircraft) and ends 40 minutes before scheduled departure. Check-in for passengers of Pobeda airlines starts 3 hours before departure.

Business class passengers check-in at dedicated counters located in the check-in hall or out of turn. To be informed of the exact time of check-in and check-out please refer to the representatives of the airline you fly with.

Upon check-in, a passenger must present his/her passport and ticket (in case of e-ticket, a passport is sufficient for registration), as well as baggage (regardless of whether it is transported in the cabin or in the baggage compartment).

You should pay special attention to the weight and dimensions of your baggage — if they are above the norm established by the airline you are going to fly with, there are charges for excess baggage. Please familiarize yourself with the rules of baggage allowance specified on the website of the airline. Upon completion of the check-in procedure, you will be given a boarding pass and a baggage tag. The boarding pass and baggage tag should be kept during the flight until the baggage is received at the destination airport.

The preflight inspection and waiting for departure

Upon ticket and baggage check-in, passengers are to enter the preflight inspection area. Preflight inspection of passengers and their hand baggage is conducted by aviation security personnel using certified equipment. Preflight inspection of business class passengers is performed out of turn.

After passing the preflight inspection, passengers proceed to the departure lounge, where they stay until invited on board. There are shops, newspaper and souvenirs stalls, and foodcourts available in the lounges of the Volgograd airport.

For passengers of international airlines

Registration of air tickets and baggage for international flights starts 2.5-3 hours (depending on the type of aircraft)before departure in order to have enough time for passport and customs control. Check-in ends 40 minutes before departure. For information about the exact time of check-in and check-out please refer to the representatives of your airline. Passengers of international flights are to pass through the customs control zone before tickets and baggage check-in.
